The Caesar cipher is a well-known cryptosystem that uses letters to shift through several positions in the alphabet. The cipher key determines how far the letters are shifted. Traditionally, the Caesar cipher is associated with replacing each letter with the third letter in the alphabet that is furthest from it, going through the alphabet in a circle.
The mechanical machine "Bebrasplay | Caesar cipher" is designed to demonstrate one of the simplest methods of text encryption - the Caesar cipher. With its help, you can send secret messages to each other.
We can engrave your logo, inscriptions or drawings on the back of the machine.

Communication with encrypted messages
You can come up with your own encryption key, encrypt and send text via SMS, transfer what is written on a piece of paper or send a photo of the text by phone. Agree with the recipient of the message what key you will use each time, for example, by matching it to the day of the week or year. You can encrypt each letter of the message with a different key, the order of changing which is known only to you and the recipient of the message. And by creatively using several “Bebrasplay | Caesar Cipher” machines, you can encrypt a secret message even with a multi-alphabetic cipher.
